Do not display in direct sunlight. Recommend that mats are made from 100% cotton rag mat board, at least two-ply in thickness, acid free or conservation board. Some fabrics such as linen, cotton, and silk are also safe to use. Never allow your print to touch the glass or borders of the frame. Both glass and acrylic sheeting condense moisture from the air, and if your print touches either, it may adhere to the surface and be ruined. However, both materials will protect your print and filter some of the harmful rays of light.
If floated, use spacers. Acrylic is best for larger prints. It is less likely to shatter and lighter to transport. Handle unframed art with clean hands or cotton gloves. Do not bend.
